In accordance with the by-laws AmCham held its Annual General Assembly meeting on December 6, 2007 in the Dome restaurant of the Hotel InterContinental.

AmCham Executive Director Dr. Tatiana Okunskaya made a detailed presentation that featured the work done during the year highlighting the various meetings and related activities. Special mention was made of the AmCham Good Governance Program that was sponsored by the US Department of Commerce. In connection with the program, certificates of appreciation for active participation were presented to Donald Nicholson, Charles Rudd, Oybek Khalilov, Saidrasul Bakiev, Vera Makarova, Igor Pakan and Fernand Pillonel.

Following Dr. Okunskaya's report, AmCham Treasurer, Hugo Minderhoud presented the financial accounts and then took questions from the assembled membership.

Following the presentations AmCham's voting members chose the new Board of Directors which included all of the incumbent directors plus Mirpayoz Mirsaatov.

As usual all AmCham members and guests were invited to a short cocktail session with drinks and snacks to finish the event.
